The photos on the following pages represent a few of the memories of our trip down under this last winter break. We landed in Auckland, flew to Queenstown in the far south, spent a few days in and around Te Anau - then worked our way north. Waterfalls, rainbows every day, glow worm caves, jet boat rides and reliving the filming of the Lord of the Rings. Queenstown, the Southern Alps, the West Coast and its glaciers - then Marlborough Sound with wonderful friends and some overdue sunshine!
We trained back to Auckland - flew to Sydney and drove north to other friends and a farm. Quiet days, the 'Australian Wave' (flies in the eyes) - and then back for a day or two of shopping in Sydney. Dinner at Doyles in Watson's Bay was a perfect end. We all agreed it was the finest seafood dinner we've ever eaten.
