This collection is from our recent trip to Rishikesh. This town is relatively due north of Delhi in the steep foothills of the Himalaya and is a known Yoga center. Lots of Ashrams - apparently the Beatles met their guru here but I only know that because it is in the book next to me I am using for background information. Our trip was one of river rafting and sleeping in tents along the river about 20 km above the town. Class III and IV rapids and some big flows made for four exciting days of rafting along the Ganga. Some of the photos were taken in a small village that a few of us hiked to, others are from a brief but colorful visit I took into Rishikesh with three others. There are a couple from the train stations coming and going.
