Kashmir: Mahdi Wedding
A Kashmir Muslim wedding can differ according to our host, but without a doubt it is the women and the color they bring that stands out. While the men are generally quiet, the women chant, sing, dance and laugh for the duration. We were very forunate in being allowed free reign in our photography and movement. We were probably more interesting to them than they to us in many repects. |
